Feeding: Feeding Geriatrics

As they become less active, older dogs can be very prone to obesity. Consider switching to a complete geriatric diet that is lower in protein and fat.

Feed smaller meals 2 or 3 times a day and watch out for those in-between meal snacks. Remember that the effects of obesity can age your dog beyond his years and shorten his life.
