American Cocker Spaniel

The American Cocker Spaniel is derived from the Cocker Spaniel but has been bred to a quite different shape and size as the requirement was to retrieve quail.

His head is rounded and, when in show condition, he has such a long coat on his body and legs that it touches the floor. He retains the happy disposition of the Cocker Spaniel and makes a good family pet.
